Minneapolis roofing, documented first.

Older homes, duplexes and commercial roofs across the city, scoped from a record you keep.

What Minneapolis roofs look like

Much of Minneapolis was built in the late 1800s and early 1900s, and it shows on the roofs: bungalows and foursquares, two-and-a-half-story homes with steep pitches and dormers, and a large number of duplexes and small apartment buildings. Many have been re-roofed more than once, sometimes over the old layers, and attic ventilation that never caught up with added insulation. Newer infill homes and post-war neighborhoods add simpler roofs, and commercial corridors bring low-slope membranes and parapets.

Weather on the city’s roofs

Thunderstorms in late spring and summer bring hail and straight-line winds, and the city’s many large trees turn wind events into branch and gutter damage. In winter, ice dams form on older homes where warm air leaks into cold attics. A good replacement in Minneapolis means fixing the eaves, valleys and ventilation, not just the shingles.

Duplexes, rentals and small buildings

For owners of duplexes and small multifamily buildings, we document each building so repairs and replacements can be planned and budgeted, and we schedule work around tenants. Commercial roofs get the same treatment: membrane, seams, flashings and drains documented by location before any scope is written.

How we work

Every Minneapolis job starts with a walk of the whole building and a record of what we find. The quote comes out of that record, permits are pulled where the city requires them, and the record is yours whether or not you hire us. If a storm is involved and you file a claim, we work with your adjuster at your request.

Request an inspection

The inspection costs you nothing. The record is yours whether or not you hire us.
