My dad, David Forsman, and I had a paper route in Bloomington. Every day we passed the old man's house on the hill. It took years, but when I was 14 he asked my dad and me to buy it. We did, and we restored it together — my brother still lives there today. Dad taught me to go after an idea when you know it's right, and that hard work behind it helps people and a community. It's been in my blood ever since.

Before roofing I spent more than 15 years in financial services and insurance — with Aflac, Allstate and State Farm, three Fortune 500 companies, and one of the largest IMOs in the country. At Allstate in 2019 and 2020 I finished first in the Midwest and third in the country for life, financial planning and business sales. I learned how carriers think, and I learned that the quality of the record decides how everything after it goes.

So this company documents before it bids. Since 2024 I've led more than 70 roof replacements with my crews — more than 30 in Minnesota and Wisconsin, including historic homes here in Saint Paul. From 2011 to 2013 I served on the Lexington-Hamline Community Council board, working with the City on a home-improvement and first-time homebuyer fund. My family has been in the Sauk Centre area for more than thirty years, so central Minnesota is home ground too.

What I'll tell you plainly:

• If your roof doesn't need replacing, I'll tell you.
• If the evidence doesn't support a storm-damage finding, the report will say so.
• If I'm not the right person for your building, I'll say so and tell you who might be.
